This position requires a deep understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and best practices for securing and optimizing cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex cloud projects, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Architecture: Develop and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS services.
Cloud Management: Oversee the daily operations of AWS environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Automation and Orchestration: Create and manage automation scripts, tools, and processes to streamline cloud operations and deployment workflows.
Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices, monitoring, and compliance requirements across all cloud environments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to manage and provision cloud resources.
Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services, providing expert support to internal teams.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications in the cloud.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS developments, industry trends, and best practices to continually enhance our cloud capabilities.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional level) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and more.
Strong understanding of cloud security practices and tools.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and CodePipeline.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
