Ruby & Ruby on Rails developer

Asaitec is a Spanish company located in Madrid created in 2013 that provides offshore Java services for European companies. Our goal is the development and maintenance of different services and applications.

We are looking for a full-stack developer who can work independently (teleworking), who is passionate about development and who wants to join a stable, united and collaborative team.

This person should have extensive knowledge and experience working with Ruby and Ruby on Rails and experience in front-end development with React will be an asset.

The following skills are mandatory:
- High English level (B2,C1), both written and spoken. Will be tested.
- At least, 5 years of experience in backend web development in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience designing & delivering REST APIs.
- Experience with test-first development techniques.
- Knowing the importance of security and you follow the best industry security practices.
- Have worked with Agile methodologies.

The following would be an asset:
- Experience in front-end development with React.
- Experience with source code versioning tools.
- Knowledge with the MVC and Interactor design patterns.
