Senior Java Backend Engineer

Remote Position
You will be part of a fast-growing IT Advisor Company having the opportunity to work for one of its biggest clients: an American Mobile Payment Systems Company.

We are looking for:
Seniority in developing Java Enterprise applications.
Experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Kafka as well as in Cassandra and caching solutions as, for example: Redis, ElastiCache.
Expertise in architecting and developing scalable software solutions with gRPC based micro services in Spring Boot framework.
Proven ability to work effectively with algorithms and data structures.
Strong understanding of design patterns, accessibility and security compliance.

Nice To Have:
Knowledge/expertise developing Python / Django web applications
Experience in payments processing or payments domain.
Experience in risk or compliance domains and in integrating disparate systems together.

Responsibilities:
Write Java and /or Python services on Kubernetes, using MySQL and other NoSQL databases.
Design and implement new services.
Collaborate with the architecture team to develop robust, portable, and interoperable solutions.
Take an active role in reducing the technical debt in various codebases.
Triage, debug and assure the timely resolution of software defects
