Requirements:

- Profound working knowledge in Python

- Experience in the development of webservices

- Experience with databases and ORMs (we use sqlalchemy)

- Proficiency in Git

- At least basic knowledge of Docker

- Strong communication skills and willingness to work with the rest of the team to ensure stable and reliable operation of the system

- Full working proficiency in English

Nice to have:

- Experience in message-based systems

- Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins or any other automated CI solution

- Experience in automated testing of REST APIs

- Experience in automated security testing of web servers

- Experience with working with a large cloud provider, preferably AWS

- Knowledge about container orchestration software, e.g. docker-compose, kubernetes

- At least basic knowledge in Java and the willingness to learn other programming languages

- Knowledge of geo processing tools, e.g, PostGIS, gdal, ogr

- Proficiency in German
